The 44th annual Farm Fair. The city lists animal interactions, heritage activities, pedal tractors, a pumpkin patch, pony rides, wagon rides, and food trucks. Admission, parking, and the shuttle are free. Pony rides, pumpkins, the harvest play patch, wagon rides, and food have fees. No ATM on site. Pets are not allowed in the barnyard or on the shuttle buses.
On-site parking is limited to accessible spaces. Free shuttles run from Bannerwood Sports Park, 1790 Richards Road, and the Wilburton Park and Ride, 720 114th Ave SE. The last shuttle leaves the farm at 4:15 p.m. East Main light rail is the other option. Call the farm at 425-452-7688.
Volunteers 15 and older can still email Stacy Stenslie at sstenslie@bellevuewa.gov. That is a work shift, not a kids’ program.

Kids in the Garden: Pumpkins & Seeds

Ages 3–5 with a parent or caregiver. A story, an art project, a song, snack, and time in the garden. The question on the series page is how pumpkins grow. Space is 12 children. Adults are free.
A single session is $25 per child for non-members and $17.50 for garden-society members. A second child in the same registration is less. The series page marks Oct 7 as full. A cancellation would show on the registration page, not as a walk-up.
The garden itself is still a free walk if the class is closed. This is not the same trip as the library. Main Street and downtown Bellevue are a drive apart.

The garden class and the brick hour are the same day and not the same neighborhood. A family that gets into the spider session cannot walk to the library in the gap. Pick one, or split caregivers.

Oct 7 and Oct 14 in this series were already marked full. The owl page still said spots were available. Register. Do not plan on walking in.
The next session, Winter is Coming, is Wednesday, Oct 28, which is the following week.
The Art of Hawaiian Kapa

Artist Malia Peoples talks about kapa, the traditional fabric of Hawaii, then participants stamp their own prints. Supplies are provided. Please register. The page said registration opens Oct 14 at 6:00 p.m., with 20 seats. Supported by the Bellevue Arts Commission and in part by 4Culture.
The listing is filed for adults. It is the parent workshop, not a second preschool class. It does not overlap the morning owl session.
No farmers market this week. The library’s Monday toddler storytime was on the calendar for Oct 5 and Oct 12. It was not on the pages used for Oct 19. Check the branch list before you count on it.
